Aqua Konsult AB is a leading Swedish company in the field of environmental and process engineering. Our speciality is the treatment of industrial waste water from engineering and processing industries. Our clients can be found among all types of industries and public authorities.

We work mainly with the analysis of waste water, the design and construction of waste water treatment, applications for permits, the training of staff with industries and public authorities and environmental audits. We also offer service contracts to achieve improved functionality in existing treatment system.

Aqua Konsult can act as Project Managers to lead and administer entire projects, or take part in larger groups. We have experience of troubleshooting at all levels, and we are very proficient. SERVICE ASSIGNMENTS We conduct planned service and surveillance at a number of industries. The main purpose is to assure that the instruments and equipment for the treatment of waste water remains in good condition and that the conditions stated in permits granted are adhered to. We continuously check the laboratory results to ensure the treatment is correct. This monitoring system gives us a good knowledge of the plants and therefore we can operate them at a low cost with good treatment results. During our visits we train staff to help them run their plant properly.

Another important task for Aqua Konsult is to check new constructions to ensure the suppliers' obligations are kept. The objective is to ensure that the treatment equipment installed will serve the purposes of our clients.

TRAINING
Aqua Konsult can train clients' staff who daily come in contact with environmental laws. The personnel mainly trained are those who operate treatment plants for polluted water or air. The training program includes environmental law, the chemical composition of different waste water, the design of treatment plants, the operation and maintenance of plants, and monitoring and systems.

We also offer special training for new employees, which includes visits to companies with similar production facilities which gives the opportunity of establishing contacts with personnel working with similar assignments. This is a good way for new employees to exchange ideas and to easier learn working routines. In the long term, this method minimizes the operation and maintenance costs and ultimately produces better treatment results.

We can arrange special training for larger companies, adapted to specific plants and training requirements. This provides the opportunity to discuss local problems. The specially designed training program can be held at the client's premises which allows many people at different levels and job categories to be trained at the same time. Our specialists often participate in scientific conferences and hearings and are engaged as lecturers by technical universities and other institutions.

HAZARDOUS WASTE
Furthermore, we can support clients in the management of solid and hazardous waste. Our good contacts enable us to help our clients to solve their waste problems in a correct and simple way and at the lowest possible cost. We have also have carried out remedial and clean-up work after fires and other accidents.

ENVIRONMENTAL AUDITS
Environmental auditing is today a voluntary complement to the mandatory environmental measurements and investigations done according to the monitoring program. The objective environmental audits is to enable the management and employees to continuously monitor the improvements made, and at an early stage detect errors in the environmental protection system.
